As a licensed boat captain, I've sailed thousands of miles, crossed the Atlantic Ocean, battled storms, and dealt with just about everything Mother Nature can throw at a sailor. But I'll tell you something — trying to get boat insurance squared away at the last minute can make navigating a hurricane look like a Sunday afternoon cruise!

Then along came Grant from State Farm!

This outstanding young man went above and beyond, working tirelessly throughout the day to get my boat insurance set up on extremely short notice. He didn't abandon ship, didn't make excuses, and certainly didn't leave his captain drifting without coverage!

Grant stayed on course, navigated the paperwork, worked through the obstacles, and kept at it until we finally reached safe harbor with a new insurance policy.

I've dealt with plenty of people over my years, and it's rare to find a young man with this kind of dedication, professionalism, patience, and genuine concern for his customers.

He treated my last-minute insurance emergency like it was his own vessel taking on water — all hands on deck until the job was done!

If State Farm has more people like Grant, they've got themselves one heck of a crew. And if I ever need someone to navigate a mountain of paperwork through rough seas again, I know exactly who I'm calling!
